This has an "A" marked on the ligature and measures exactly 3 inches long
This piece has a patent date of Feb. 10, 1920. It is typical of 1920's design. It has a very large round chamber, deeply scooped inner side walls. An opening considered small by modern standards, so you will need to either use a stiff reed, or have it opened to a more modern facing. This piece is made of solid German nickel silver. There is no integrated bite plate, so you will definitely want to use a cushion of some type to protect your teeth from damage. The exterior of the mouthpiece has a very unique shape with fluted sides.
This is in excellent used condition.
The tip, table, and rails are perfectly smooth with no damage issues or signs of abuse.
