A True Victorian Antique (1800s)
Ladies Silk on MOP Hand Painted Hand Fan
Superior Workmanship overall, including tiny Mother Of Pearl shimmering inlay pieces
And comes with it's original Tassel (also inperfect condition)
When I saw this piece at a high end estate sale, I knew it was a collector who owned it... simply because the way it was presented, in a padded silver box with a small latch to keep it closed.  The workmanship on this beautiful fan is amazing.  I show as many closeups as I could in the detailed pictures.  When you look at them you will immediately know what I mean.  It's that simple.  It is made of mother of pearl sections intricately pierced and carved to facilitate the hand painted figure and overall lower design.  You will also see the tiny pieces of MOP Inlay thru-ought and especially on the end pieces.  The upper section is shimmering silk, as you can see... with a gorgeous hand painted Victorian Lady kneeling into a boudoire chair and looking into her mirror.  The closeups showing the detailed artistic rendering should amaze even the most seasoned art afficionado.
It is in perfect condition, and there are No issues.  So difficult to find one this old, this beautiful and in this condition.  The rest is up to you art lovers & collectors.
