  • Condition: This vintage Berg Larsen mouthpiece, cap and ligature are all in nice condition. The black piece of bakelite at the tip of the mouthpiece does have a chip as shown in the photos. Otherwise the mouthpiece is clean and in like new condition. The ligature and cap are solid and nice with some obvious wear.

    Description

    This auction is for a vintage (1950's) metal Berg Larsen alto saxophone mouthpiece with Bakelite black insert.  The ligature and cap are also both stamped Berg Larsen.  The cap and ligature are solid, clean and able to be used as is. The metal mouthpiece is in excellent condition, but the black insert has a small indent at the very tip.  It is still playable as is, and is very clean, nothing is broken and the bore is clean and like new.  The mouthpiece is a model 100/2/M.  The mouthpiece measures approximately 3 1/2" long.  It reads Berg Larsen London England on the mouthpiece, the ligature and the cap.  The last photo shows the black insert.  Feel free to ask questions.  I will pay the insurance on this when shipping.
