his listing is for a lightly used Clark W. Fobes "San Francisco" series mouthpiece for Bb soprano clarinet. This is a professional level mouthpiece hand finished by Clark Fobes from a "Zinner Hand Crafted" blank (made in Germany). It is made from hard rubber, not plastic. It is etched 2M* on top. There are some additional numbers etched on the side, which I believe is a serial number.
This mouthpiece is in excellent, lightly used condition. The tip, table, and rails are perfectly smooth. There is no tooth wear on the beak (not even any scratching, as a protective patch was used by the previous owner). The rubber is still black and shiny, with all markings clearly visible. The cork is also in excellent condition. This would be a great mouthpiece for advanced students to professional players. This model currently retails for 5 on the Fobes website. This is a great chance to save some serious money on an extremely lightly used example.
