The area near the writing is perfectly fine, this is handmade and hand finished.
The Backun CG mouthpiece was the result of a collaboration between Corrado Giuffredi, Backun and Pomarico. It is a limited production mouthpiece with only a few produced each year. This mouthpiece has a medium open tip opening but the player will notice it will play similar to a smaller opening hard plastic mouthpiece.
