*Today I am going to be listing many soprano sax mouthpieces (plus a few alto, tenor, and clarinet) that have been worked on by Brian Powell. Brian is one of the best mouthpiece refacers in the business, and his services are in high demand. You can be sure that these mouthpiece have been adjusted to optimal performance. These are far superior to the average 'off the shelf' pro level mouthpiece.
This listing is for a E. Rousseau "Studio Jazz" soprano saxophone mouthpiece. This is a great mouthpiece for playing contemporary music. It has flat inner walls and a small arch top chamber with slanted sides. It is made of ebonite (hard rubber), not plastic. This one was opened just slightly from its original tip opening of .061". The tip opening now measures .065", which Brian etched on the side, along with his initials.  That is halfway between Rousseau's SJ7 and SJ8 specs.
This mouthpiece is in excellent used condition. It has just come back from being worked on by Brian, so the facing (tip, table, and rails) is flawless. There is no tooth wear, or even scratches, on the beak. There are some ligature scratches on the top, but overall it looks very good. The rubber is still black and shiny. It has been cleaned/sanitized.
