-Just back from Centek Electronics with a clean bill of health.
-Cleaned inside and out. New belt and program selector lamps just installed. BTW, This unit doesn't have any lamps on VU meters. It has two recording indicator lamps that light up during recording similar to their TC-366 Reel to reel machine. In normal condition, no lights on meters
-All moving gears including the
program/track selector mechanism have been re-lubed.
-Very quiet operation. Clean sound on both channels
-Recording test was not done.
-Very good to excellent condition. May not be mint or near mint but when it comes to functions-Its a 10 out of 10
-Few light marks here and there and some on the tape door that have been re-finished with a black marker. There is light wood peelings at the bottom edge but nothing major. Refinished with similar color wood markers. Pictured to avoid any post-sale disappointments but what we can tell you that the overall cosmetics and performance would outweigh any minor imperfections-you bet...
