GREGORY SMITH KASPER-STYLE B-flat CLARINET MOUTHPIECE - GREAT CONDITION

Up for auction is a Gregory Smith B-flat clarinet mouthpiece made in the style of Frank Kaspar. Constructed from a hard rubber Zinner blank, this mouthpiece is in great condition with no teeth grooves. Smith is a member of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and he plays his mouthpieces when performing with that group. The only blemishes on the mouthpiece are marks on the back from a ligature. This mouthpiece works well with a Vandoren V12 strength 3.5 reed or a D’Addario Reserve Classic reed also of a 3.5 strength. Smith’s order page on his website has been down for a while so his mouthpieces are getting difficult to fund and, since Zinner folded, mouthpieces from their blanks are becoming more rare.
