Hand cut Deep PINK natural RHODOCROSITE cabochon from Argentina (65.55 carats)

Description

CABOCHON  description; Most excellent large stone with a lot of surface area, so it can be seen. COLOR: DEEP PINK  with white calcite  flow banding pattern. ORIGIN: Capillitas, Catamarca, Argentina  CUT: Free form oval with a  low  dome. POLISH: Mirror finish on the top with 50,000 fine diamond on the back. BEZEL: Yes, 45 degrees around the bottom edge to prevent chipping. TREATMENTS: NONE. INCLUSIONS:  A little matrix woven into the calcite bands. CLARITY: Translucent. NO fractures noticed. What looks like fractures are the large shimmering calcite crystals. There are a few internal veils, but NOTHING distracting.  Hand cut by seller.
