his listing is for a Bari (brand) "Hawk II" metal alto saxophone mouthpiece. This mouthpiece has a high (step) baffle and small (round) chamber. It is stamped 6 on the side, with a tip opening measuring .080". The mouthpiece comes with a matching 'power ring'. I'm not sure if that's what Bari calls it, but that's what other manufacturers call similar attachments. It is basically a heavy, solid brass ring that fits on the shank of the mouthpiece. The idea is that it adds mass/weight, and thus changes the sound. It is easily removable by simply loosening a plastic thumb screw on the bottom. Also included is the original ligature for the mouthpiece.
This mouthpiece is in overall very good condition, the only issues being some minor plating wear on the sides and table. It has never been dropped or damaged. The rails are perfectly smooth. The bite plate is free of tooth marks. The power ring and ligature are also in excellent condition. All pieces have been cleaned/sanitized.
