Lebayle Handmade Ebony Wood 6 Tenor Saxophone wooden sax mouthpiece - Big, Warm Tone!
I’m not sure of the tip measurement on this mouthpiece, and it’s not marked at all, but it was sold to me as a 6, which would put it at about .85 opening, which it pretty much what it plays like for me.  Tip, rails and table are all immaculate (see photos). A mouthpiece patch is in place (can be removed by buyer, if desired). This auction is for the mouthpiece only – no ligature.
This is a great sounding mouthpiece. It’s very warm, the way you would expect a wooden piece to sound. I bought two of these exact same mouthpieces over 10 years ago, when I found out that Joe Lovano played on a wooden mouthpiece. I’ve been playing one on and off ever since, but this second one has been sitting in the drawer, unused all these years (along with a bunch of other unused pieces). Now it’s time to clear out my mouthpiece drawer and move some of these pieces to more loving homes!
