Hello, This is the new metal LR III bass saxophone mouthpiece by master artist Fred Lebayle. It has a size 7 tip (.110) and was handmade from a solid brass bar and then gold plated. This is a truly handmade mouthpiece, no CNC like most other makers. These pieces have personality! The LR III model uses bass saxophone reeds, but some baritone reeds will also work. The LR III has a large chamber with rounded sidewalls to achieve a rich tone combined with a rollover baffle similar to a Florida Otto Link with more power. It has a huge amount of power, and can also subtone beautifully. This is the culmination of many years of designing and creating mouthpieces, and they are each made custom. This mouthpiece is from an order seven LR III bass pieces that were made this year. Only 10 LR III bass pieces have been made and each are individually serial numbered. This is the only place in the world where they are available. This mouthpiece comes with a custom Silverstein Quattro Ligature and Cap. Thanks for looking.
