Introducing Pereira 3D Bass Clarinet Mouthpieces! Made in collaboration with mouthpiece craftsman Nikhil Bartolomeo, each mouthpiece is hand-faced by Nikhil to exact specifications, resulting in quick response, enhanced core to the sound, and reed-friendliness for both cane and synthetic reeds. The blank began as a 3D scan of a prized bass mouthpiece followed by a series of model edits to optimize response, tone quality, and tuning.
This mouthpiece's tip opening is 1.75mm and facing curve length is 26mm. Reed strengths 2-5-3.5 are recommended for this facing, although reed strengths outside of this range can also work well. Our mouthpieces are made from a plant-based synthetic material that is food-grade and very durable.
