    his listing is for a Phil Barone metal tenor saxophone mouthpiece. It is the "Jazz" model. According to Phil's website, this is his darkest mouthpiece, having the largest chamber and lowest baffle of all his models. Apparently Charles Lloyd uses this model. It is stamped "J7*" on the side. Be advised that Phil's scale is a little different than say Otto Link's though. His 7* is equal to an Otto Link 8*. This piece measures right on the dot at .115".
    This mouthpiece is in very good used condition. It has not suffered any damage. The tip, table, and side rails are perfectly smooth. The shank is round. There are some indentations in the bite plate, which you will probably want to fill with epoxy and use a cushion over. There is moderate wear to the gold plate finish, but not through the underlying silver. This mouthpiece has been cleaned/sanitized.
    There is no cap or ligature included.
    This model currently sells on Phil's website (and I believe through his website only) for 5.00! This is a great chance to get an excellent example of Phil's work at a significant savings.
