Universal Adapter Kit - Torch  Retrofit Kit
This kit is used to adapt a new "3 wire" plasma torch to  virtually any older plasma cutter
Comes complete with:
1. - Universal Bulkhead Adapter (M16 - 5/8" male to 5/16" hose nipple)
2. - 2 pin plug torch plug
3. - 2 pin socket face plate mount
4. - Binding Post - for pilot arc start wire
The bulkhead adapter is mounted on the face of your machine and serves as the  air connection and high current connection point (a 3 wire torch has a thick  wire running inside the air line), while  the binding post is used to connect the pilot arc wire.
Note: you must determine the type of machine you  have - either HF Arc Start or Non-HF Arc Start
Generally, older machines are HF Arc Start (High Voltage/Frequency circuit  inside machine creates an arc between a set of points inside machine - you can  see/hear the "buzz"
An Non-HF arc machine often uses a spring loaded electrode - if the electrode is  spring loaded (moves about 1/8" when pressed) the machine is probably Non-HF
