his listing is for a Raganato (Italy) ER-1 tenor saxophone mouthpiece. I had never heard of this manufacturer before, and there is scant information about it on the internet. I'm not sure if they are even still in business or not.
I was excited to try this mouthpiece because it was one that I'd never heard of, and it was described as 'handmade'. Unfortunately it was a let down. I can best describe it as having unrealized potential. It does has a fat sound that is tonally rich (it reminds me in that respect of a vintage Link slant sig.), but the response is atrocious. I suspected, and had confirmed by my mouthpiece guy, that the facing curve was too long. In fact, he said that it was a longer curve than most bari mouthpieces. In addition, the rails are very wide, but the tip razor thin. I believe there is probably also some asymmetry in the rails. Bottom line, it needs work to be a real player in my opinion, but I'll leave that for the buyer. If nothing else, it could be a good blank to experiment with. Apparently it is a composite material...it has some hard rubber, but mixed with plastic. It has scooped side walls and a large round chamber. The tip opening is .110".
This mouthpiece is in excellent physical condition. I think it has only been briefly play tested, so it is essentially like new. I have cleaned/sanitized it. It comes in its original box.
