his listing is for a Saxscape brand mouthpiece for tenor saxophone. Saxscape mouthpieces are handcrafted by Kenneth Barry.
This is a "SL" model, which apparently stands for 'slant Link'. Obviously it is inspired by the Otto Link slant signature Tone Edge, which is one of the most sought after vintage pieces. It has a medium/large chamber, but oddly the side walls are straight, not scooped like on an actual Link slant sig. The tip opening is .102", as etched on the side of the mouthpiece. For reference, that is slightly bigger than an Otto Link #7. This piece also has "prototype" etched on the table, which is rather odd considering it is also serial numbered (#2480). Looking around on the internet, I see several others with the same 'prototype' mark, so maybe that means something else for this maker.
This mouthpiece is in excellent, very lightly used condition. In fact, it could practically pass for brand new. The tip, table, and rails are perfectly smooth. There is no tooth wear on the beak (it was always played with a cushion). There is not a scratch on it. It has been cleaned/sanitized. It comes in its original  tube.
