This listing is for a vintage "The Woodwind Co." mouthpiece for Bb bass clarinet. It is  stamped 'Steel Ebonite', which was their term for hard rubber. This is a "NEW YORK" era piece, with the facing number marked on the table. This indicates the most desirable period for this manufacturer. The afcing number is B6 and t
he tip opening measures .066".
This mouthpiece is in excellent
condition. The tip, table, and rails are smooth and there are no tooth gouges on the beak. The rubber shows mild discoloration, but virtually no ligature scratching. It has been cleaned/sanitized. Also included are the ligature and cap shown, both of which are in excellent condition as well.
