This listing is for a vintage "The Woodwind Co." mouthpiece for Bb soprano clarinet. It is  stamped 'Steel Ebonite', which was their term for hard rubber. This is a "NEW YORK" era piece, the most desirable period for this manufacturer. The facing number is B5 is stamped on table and t
he tip opening measures .040".
This mouthpiece is in very good
condition. There are a few tiny nicks on the rails, but for the most part the facing is smooth. There are no tooth gouges on the beak. There is some light scratching/scuffing on the exterior. The rubber is black and shiny. It has been cleaned/sanitized.
