his listing is for a vintage Buffet Crampon mouthpiece for Bb soprano clarinet. This one is stamped with a large "C" on the side. It has one ring up, and three down, with the Buffet logo in between. These are said to be made from Chedeville blanks. The tip opening measures 1.18mm (.046"), which is medium open.
This mouthpiece
is in excellent condition. The tip, table, and rails are perfectly smooth. There are no tooth marks on the beak. The rubber is still black and shiny, and the logo is clear. The cork is in excellent condition. This mouthpiece has been cleaned/sanitized, so it is ready to play.
Also included is a matching Buffet Crampon ligature, plus an unbranded plastic mouthpiece cap. The nickel plate finish on the ligature has dulled a bit with age, but it is in otherwise excellent condition. It is not bent or cracked, and the screws work properly. The cap is no cracked or otherwise damaged either.
