In good restored and perfected condition,  A VINTAGE BRILHART SERIALIZED EBOLIN MODEL Bb CLARINET MOUTHPIECE. SERIAL NUMBER 106768.  MOST LIKELY FROM 1968. THE SERIAL # IS THE FANCY FONT INDICATING THE SECOND TO LAST ERA OF SERIALIZED BRILHART MOUTHPIECES.
A FINE JAZZ AND COMMERCIAL MUSIC CLARINET MOUTHPIECE IN THE STYLE OF ARTIE SHAW.
The BRILHART between 2 reeds trademark appears on top with EBOLIN below on the top of the shank with the 3* ORIGINAL FACING NUMBER BELOW. THE 6 digit serial number on the side.  An excellent quality and collectible CLARINET mouthpiece as well as an excellent player.  It has a new cork.
It plays with a very clear, focused, lively tone that emits easily and evenly through the registers of the clarinet with a clear rich tone color.  The table of the mouthpiece has been leveled and the rails have been slightly balanced for better reed friendly response. The tip has been professionally opened to .046"
Play tested on MITCHELL LURIE #3.5 REEDS.  IT TAKES A STANDARD Bb CLARINET LIGATURE (not included).
