    14 1/2 inches.  This is my favorite fan - showing a monkey shaking hands with a cat who is leading a troop of army cats.
    No rips or damage.  Just a beautiful fan from my personal fan collection which I am now selling - time for a new home.  And please check out my other fans up for sale.  No extra shipping or handling costs no matter how many you win.
