Vintage Hard Rubber Conn "Pickle Barrel" Bari Sax Mouthpiece .058"/1.47mm
This is a vintage hard rubber Conn "Pickle Barrel" bari sax mouthpiece. The mouthpiece is still a gorgeous, glossy black color. It is in outstanding condition. The original shank ring is intact and there are only minor cosmetic blemishes on the body. As far as we can tell, the facing, with its .058"/1.47mm opening are original. This mouthpiece plays best with a firm reed in the 3.5-4.5 range and it plays great with a thick, sonorous tone and easy, clear articulation. A great candidate for a vintage American bari!
