    Vintage Lloyd's Model 2V83E-138A AC/DC Stereo Portable 8-Track Tape Player.
    Powers and plays.
    The channel change button does work, and it advanced the 8 track tape we used to check it. The diodes that light appear to be burnt out, because only one lit up as the tracks were changed.
    The volume button causes the sound level to “crackle” when it is spun.
    The battery compartment looks clean, but we did not have enough D cell batteries to check it.
    The connection cable to attach the two speakers together works. The sound was very clear.
    Overall, it is in good condition. The plastic case is not split, cracked, or chipped anywhere we could find. The doors for the wire and battery compartments snapped in place very easily.
