Vintage Marantz 8 Track Tape Player Superscope 2/4 Channel - Model TD-48  (This is a 4 channel player, not a 2 channel, like the TD-28)  NON-SMOKING  Approximate measurements:  9 3/4" deep x 7 5/8"wide x 5" tall.
PLEASE READ:
There have been increasing problems with people buying vintage electronics on eBay, harvesting parts from them and then trying to return them to the seller claiming they were broken. As such, I'm giving fair notice that this unit has been tested and works well - all internal parts have been intricately photographed and cataloged.  So, for anyone thinking of buying this to switch out a part from a unit you already own - DON'T!  I have been selling on eBay for 14 years with 100% positive feedback and I will vigorously fight something like that with eBay with my documentation and photographs.
That said, to everyone else, I'm sorry that I had to put you through that!
