    Description

    Vintage MSA V-Gard Hardhat from TODD SHIPYARDS CORPORATION.  Hard Hat Adjustable from  6.5 - 7 3/4. Todd Shipyards in Seattle was once the largest independent ship building company in the United States. This hat complies with ANSI Z89.1 CLASS "B".Made by MSA: Mine Safety Appliances Company in Pittsburgh. The little circle inside the brim has numbers 82, 83 and 84. (Could one of these be the date?" Great piece of Seattle's shipbuilding history! The label and exterior show surface wear and light scratches, but no cracks, splits, holes or other such damage. Please check photos closely and ask if you have any questions. )The small black spots inside are not markings, but dust particles I didn't notice when photographing. I've since brushed them out.)
