his listing is for a vintage Otto Link "Tone Edge" mouthpiece for tenor saxophone. This is a slant signature version with no USA stamp on the shank. That indicates that it is an early Pompano Beach, FL Slant Sig., the most desirable era of Otto Link production. This one comes in the rare "WT" facing (marked on the side). This was one of a few special artist facings that Link applied to their mouthpieces. The WT stands for Wolfe Tannenbaum. This piece has a .085" tip opening. That is equal to a 5*, but I'm guessing that it maybe has a different facing curve than the standard 5*.
This mouthpiece is in excellent used condition. The tip, table, and rails are perfectly smooth, and original There is no tooth wear on the beak. The rubber shows normal fading/discoloration. There are some light ligature scratches/scuffs on the exterior. It has been cleaned/sanitized.
