Vintage Panasonic RS888S Audio Entertainment Center Record Cassette 8 Track Play. Condition is for parts and repair.
The cover is shattered as shown in pictures 1 and 9.
The only light that lights up is FM stereo as shown in picture 3.
AM radio plays sound in every speaker output. Picks up stations very well.
FM radio plays sound in every speaker output. Picks up stations very well.
Record player will spin, but I am unable to get it to produce sound. I do not know the quality of the needle.  I know that it's an expensive needle, but I do not know enough about needles to know if it needs to be replaced. All I know is that i cannot get a record to play.  Switching from 33 to 45 does not change the speed. I do not know what the 7, 10, and 12 switch does and if it works or not. I do not know what the 2, 4, and 9 switch does and if it works or not.
Cassette Tape plays and produces sound.
I do not have an 8 Track to test the 8 Track Player.
This is all that I tested. That's it. Nothing more. Nothing less.
