Vintage Selmer Paris Soloist C** Short Shank Alto Sax Mouthpiece .075”/1.91mm
This is an original facing 50s vintage Selmer Soloist “short shank” series alto sax mouthpiece. This piece is table stamped a C** and appears not to have been refaced. The tip measuring .075”/1.91mm. The piece shows oxidation for its age, where the quality hard rubber content has turned brown over time, with the most discoloration concentrated around the tip. There are some minor nicks on the table toward the outer edge and well away from the window. The side rails and tip rail are in good condition, but there is a very minor dent near the right corner of the tip which doesn't deform the reed contact surface.
